Position Description: Responsible for the organization and administration of all facets of the wrestling program to ensure a quality program and successful Division 1 team. Recruits athletes and oversees their training. Monitors and supports academic success of student athletes. Builds and maintains a public awareness of the program. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Five years experience coaching wrestling at the collegiate level or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules. Commitment to student athletes' academic success, personal development, and well-being. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree. Successful head coaching and recruiting experience in collegiate wrestling. Familiarity with the Midwest and NE Ohio region. Demonstrated commitment to diversity. Coaching experience in a metropolitan college/university environment.
