King University is accepting applications for the position of Associate Head Women’s Wrestling Coach. The successful candidate will provide significant leadership of the women’s wrestling program in support of the head coach of the men’s and women’s wrestling programs, as well as provide administrative support for the men’s wrestling program. The Associate Head Coach will be responsible for developing and executing training and practice plans with minimal supervision, coaching the team and matches and tournaments, and providing supervisory oversight of the Assistant Women’s Wrestling Coach. The Associate Head Coach will also be responsible for mentoring and developing student athletes in a Christian academic community.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required. Two years’ experience as a full-time assistant coach at the collegiate level, along with a thorough knowledge of the sport, a sophisticated understanding of coaching strategies, and a demonstrated ability to enhance student athlete development.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree. Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a private, residential institution.
