Volunteer Assistant Coach will report directly to the Head Wrestling Coach on assigned duties. Position will assist in the coaching and day to day operations of the App State Wrestling Program. Position will help train the student-athletes in the practice room and coach during competition. Position will help in the off-the mat operations within the program.
Job Responsibilities Include but not limited to the following:
Instructing and participating in wrestling workouts, conditioning, and technique for current team members
Travel with team and coach at all home and away competitions
Assist in on-campus recruiting efforts
Promotion of camps & clinics
Assisting in all tournaments conducting by Appalachian Wrestling
Producing Social Media content to promote camps and the program
Organize and run the Youth Wrestling Club (4-5 months)
Instruct and work at App State wrestling summer camps
