The Athletic Director/Head Coach will provide ethical leadership, oversight and day-to-day supervision of the intercollegiate athletic program, ensuring the program complies with College policies and procedures, as well as NJCAA and MCCAA rules and regulations. This position will also serve as Head Coach for one of the intercollegiate sports offered by SMC.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university • At least two years of experience in athletics-related administration or equivalent in an educational environment • Collegiate head coaching experience in volleyball, basketball or wrestling • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills • A strong commitment to professionalism and continuing an atmosphere of institutional collaboration is vital to success in this position
