Baker University seeks qualified applicants for a Head Women’s Wrestling Coach/Event Coordinator vacancy.
The Head Women’s Wrestling Coach will be responsible for the management, oversight, and development of the Women’s wrestling program. Responsibilities include the recruitment and retention of student-athletes, budget management, scheduling, fundraising, reports, and the supervision and evaluation of student-athletes and assistant coaching staff. The Head Women’s Wrestling Coach will also act an event coordinator for athletic events throughout the year and will comply with all Baker University, HAAC Conference, and NAIA procedures and policies. The position will perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred). Wrestling collegiate coaching experience preferred. Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of the NAIA, good interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and to supervise staff and students. They must also possess competent writing and communication skills, be proficient with computers, have the ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
