Kentucky Wesleyan College, a private, liberal arts college with a long-standing reputation for quality and academic excellence, is seeking applications for a part-time Assistant Wresting Coach. Kentucky Wesleyan is an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).
Major Responsibilities
Assisting with the instruction of student athletes in wrestling.
Teaching the rules, fundamentals, skill development, and strategies for wrestling.
Assisting with the instruction of student athletes on sport-related topics, including personal health, wellness, fitness, team building, and safety.
Assisting with the recruitment and retention of potential student athletes.
Following the Athletics Department Academic Policy and academic support plan for student athletes.
Effective interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and enthusiastically with others.
Compensation
In addition to a monthly salary, the Assistant Coach will be provided with a campus meal plan at no charge. A residence hall room may be available; however, this will depend on availability.
