We are seeking a coach who aligns with the SMR mission and vision. The ideal candidate will be an individual who can create a transformational student-athlete experience and be a great educator in our community.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Coach practices and training sessions during the traditional season and off-season 
• Communicate with the Director of Wellness to implement strength & conditioning schedule 
• Actively recruit and retain student-athletes who are interested in SMR & competing at the highest level in the WCAC
• Develop and manage program plans for academic support in communication with Athletic Academic Advisor 
• Supervise team at all times while on campus for team activities 
• Drive the SMR Minibus to and from away games (overnight trips if scheduled)
• Communicate with the Athletic Administration on scheduling, vision and team needs for equipment
• Communicate with athletes and families about the team schedule and requirements on a weekly basis
• Attend athletic department meetings and events 

COMPLIANCE

• Understand and execute SMR and WCAC Handbook policy & procedures
• Manage WCAC/SMR roster in compliance with league reporting rules 
• Communicate with Sports Medicine staff
